Getting to Hotel

Getting in from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) can be best done by pre-booked transfer or airport shuttle. For first-timers, it is recommended to make a private transfer since it takes you straight up to the hotel door without any issue concerning the narrow, maze-like streets of Sultanahmet. Otherwise, there are Havaist shuttle services from IST and Havabus services from SAW that go nonstop to strategic points like Aksaray or the Beyazıt Meydanı square from where one can grab a quick taxi or tram ride.

The T1 tramline is the lifeline to the city and the most important stop for this hotel is the ‘Sultanahmet’ one. A nice 5-7 minute stroll beyond the Hippodrome gets to the hotel from the stop. Rental cars are highly discouraged due to the exceptionally difficult drive in the historic center and no parking space at the hotel. The best way to travel around and explore all over is by means of an ‘Istanbulkart’.
